Black Adam’ teaser sees Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson save the world The film is a sequel to the Zachary Levi–starring superhero film Shazam! from 2019.

Black Adam's official summary is that "almost 5,000 years after he was given the great powers of the conventional gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is out of his earthly tomb,  

able to unleash his own sort of justice on the fashionable world." The film, which also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher alongside Johnson, 

is directed by Jungle Cruise's Jaume Collet-Serra. In addition, Sarah Shahi plays professor Adrianna Tomaz, Quintessa Swindell plays Maxine Hunkel nicknamed Cyclone,

and Marwan Kenzari plays Ishmael. Pierce Brosnan plays Kent Nelson as Physician Destiny. Back in October, Johnson teased Black Adam at DC FanDome, saying:
