Amazon Drive will be discontinued on December 31, 2023.If you now use Amazon Drive, you might want to consider removing your information from the cloud storage platform as soon as possible.

You have little over a year to organise your affairs after receiving an email from Amazon telling consumers that the service will be discontinued on December 31, 2023.

Amazon wrote in an email to existing Amazon Drive users, "Over the last 11 years,Amazon Drive has operated as a safe cloud storage solution for Amazon customers to back up their data.

" "We will stop supporting Amazon Drive on December 31, 2023 to more completely concentrate our efforts on photographs and video storage with Amazon Photos,"  

For those who are not know, Amazon Drive enables each and every Amazon user to upload 5GB of data without charge.

Customers may safely save photographs, videos, and documents in the cloud using Amazon Drive. While Android and iOS users may interact with the service through an app (opens in new window),

Amazon said in its email, "We will continue to give customers the option to securely backup, share, and organise photographs and videos with Amazon Photos.
