Ryan Reynolds’ “If” and “A Quiet Place: Day One” are scheduled by Paramount for 2024.

By postponing forthcoming films like the “A Quiet Place” instalment and the John Krasinski-directed “If,” Paramount has made a few changes to its release schedule.

The previously entitled “A Quiet Place: Day One” will be released in cinemas on March 8, 2024. The horror movie directed by Michael Sarnoski was slated to premiere on September 22, 2023.

The movie’s producers are Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and John Krasinski, and executive producer Allyson Seeger. The sequel’s plot remains a secret, but the recently revealed title alludes to a type of prequel to the post-apocalyptic series.

The official title of the upcoming studio movie “If,” which will be directed by John Krasinski and star Ryan Reynolds, is “If.” After originally being scheduled for November 17, 2023, the production has announced a revised release date of May 24, 2024. Along with Krasinski, the movie also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Cailey Fleming, Louis Gossett Jr., Fiona Shaw, Alan S. Kim, and Steve Carell in supporting roles.

Krasinski works as producer with Reynolds and Allyson Seeger in addition to acting in “If,” for which he is billed as the only writer, director, and producer. Executive producers include Alexa Ginsburg and George Dewey.

The release date of “The Tiger’s Apprentice,” a film version of the same-titled fantasy novel by Laurence Yep, has been postponed a few weeks.

Henry Golding, Lucy Liu, Brandon Soo Hoo, Sandra Oh, Michelle Yeoh, Leah Lewis, Kheng Hua Tan, Bowen Yang, Sherry Cola, Deborah S. Craig, Jo Koy, and Greta Lee are among the voice actors for the animated film directed by Raman Hui. Paul Watling and Yong Duk Jhun are listed as co-directors.

“The Tiger’s Apprentice” is produced by Jane Startz, Sandra Rabins, and Bob Persichetti, with Kane Lee, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, and Valerii An serving as executive producers.

The forthcoming Hindi movie “Laal Singh Chaddha,” starring Aamir Khan, will be distributed in North America by Paramount. The movie is a replica of Tom Hanks’ “Forrest Gump,” a timeless masterpiece from 1994. “Laal Singh Chaddha” will be released on August 11 according to Paramount.

Speaking of Best Picture winners from the 1990s, Paramount has chosen to push back the release date of James Cameron’s “Titanic” by a few months, from October 21 to February 10, 2023, for its forthcoming 25th anniversary celebration.
