One of Queen Elizabeth‘s longtime royal advisors appears to have little confidence in the longevity of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle union.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s marriage will reportedly “end in tears,” according to a longtime aide of Queen Elizabeth!

According to Tom Bower’s latest book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, an investigative journalist

Her lady-in-waiting, the 96-year-old monarch’s most dependable royal assistant Prior to the couple’s 2018 wedding, Lady Susan Hussey made an unsettling forecast regarding their relationship. While having lunch with a group of theatrical industry leaders, she allegedly stated the following about the Duke and Duchess:

“While discussing the possibility that Meghan might become linked with the National Theatre after the wedding, Hussey became unexpectedly serious about the couple’s future. ‘That will all end in tears,’ she is alleged to have said. ‘Mark my words.’”

Yeesh! She is obviously not on team Sussex. !

Bower asserts in other passages of the book that the 83-year-old was a part of the group tasked with assisting the 40-year-old actress in adjusting to life as a member of the royal family. Lady Susan even paid a visit to Meghan at Nottingham Cottage- where she shared a residence with Harry on the grounds of Kensington Palace- to give her some guidance on the facility. The Suits alum apparently refused to pay attention to any advice the royal assistant had at the time, though. According to the book, Meghan was “insistent” in telling Lady Susan that she would not allow Buckingham Palace to direct any of her actions or influence her opinions.

Of course, no one can say for sure if this story is accurate, and we strongly doubt that any of Queen Elizabeth’s closest advisers will ever publicly address the book’s veracity. It would not surprise us, however, if some members of the royal family and their advisers thought the union would not work out, especially in light of their very public conflict with Meghan and Harry.

But from what we can see, Harry and Meghan appear to be really in love. Even in his statement to theUnited Nations on Nelson Mandela Day- he raved about her being his “soulmate.” At the time, he said:

“For most of my life, [Africa] has been my lifeline, a place where I found peace and healing time and time again. It’s where I felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died, and where I knew I had found a soulmate in my wife.”

The prince then remembered how, after just two straight dates in 2016, he encouraged Meghan to travel to Africa with him. He went on:

“I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana. We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic. So then we were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to know each other.”

Therefore, it is safe to assume that neither Harry nor Meghan share Lady Susan’s sentiments! What do Perezcious readers think? Do you concur that their union will end, as the Queen’s aide predicts? Comment with the volume OFF (below).
