I adore Tony Sirico, Bracco, who played Jennifer Melfi, posted on Instagram. a morally upright man who loved my parents and kids and always had my back. But my God, did we have fun competing in the Bensonhurst Spelling Bee—I’m still smiling. I have a lifetime of experiences with Tony, beginning with Goodfellas and continuing with The Sopranos and much beyond. I’m hoping he’s now making everyone laugh in heaven.

Imperioli paid tribute to his “beloved buddy, coworker, and partner in crime” on Instagram.

“Tony was unique among people; he was the most courageous, devoted, and kind person I’ve ever known. I went through so much with him, both the good and the bad. but generally speaking, positive. And we laughed a lot,” he said. “As Christopher and Paulie, we got into a flow, and I’m glad to report that a lot of my greatest and most enjoyable work was done with my dear friend Tony. He will always be missed. He cannot be replaced, genuinely. I send my love to his loved ones, close friends, and countless fans. He was adored and will always be remembered.

I’m very heartbroken,” said Jamie Lynn Sigler, who played Meadow Soprano, of her interactions with Sirico. I really did adore you. You always gave me a big hug when I entered a room where you were, covered me in your scent, and made sure I understood that any male who got close to me would have to answer to you first. You made such a fantastic actor. every scenario you were in was stolen. You were a real artist who was fierce, strong, lovely, and artistic. Nobody like you has ever existed and never will. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have met and loved you.
